Sanctuary Circle

You are warmly invited to join me and an intimate group of like-minded women each month, for a “temple kind” space called Sanctuary Circle.

In this busy world, I delight in creating spaces for connection, reflection, sharing and learning. When we do it collectively we weave a special kind of relationship to each other and our community, as well as oursleves.

These circles aim to bring to light our innate wisdom and knowledge, in a safe environment that I hold and facilitate.

Each woman holds the space too, whilst simultaneously feeling held by the circle. Akin to a mountain range, rooted in the earth, connected at the base, and rising up collectively until our peak individually forms.

We support each other and embody slow time during these gatherings.

Cacao is shared and sometimes prepared together, bringing us into a relationship with a plant medicine allie thatis gentle yet powerful. Cacao supports our hearts and helps us develop our humanity, one of the major ways the Mayans see Mama Cacao’s role in the community.

I follow teaching practices learned from Guatemalan elders, honoring a lineage that pays respect to all of life, and serving humans last, not first.

We gather around an altar for reverence and beauty, create nature celebrations, spend time honouring the season, share cacao, explore something creative, and partake in a spiritual act that’s nourishing and communal.

Each season the theme deepens and refines our quality of relating. With guided meditation, body awareness and relaxation as well as selected poetry we find a way to make this world more beautiful and more sacred. To bring it to life.

Nature Creative Circles

Join us each monthfrom May 2024 for inspiring, heart warming, creative in nature sessions.

“The Land” in Lincolnshire Wolds.

You will be guided in seasonal mindful nature walks, foraging, nature-based art-making, play, fire circle, warming teas, and on special occasions ceremonial cacao!

Creative in Nature Circles encourage us to meet the world afresh with all our senses and from a heart centred space, so we connect with the natural environment and experience the “more than human world” as an extension of our human communities.

At the heart of these workshops is the healing experience of being with nature, close to elements and sharing the transformative potential of creativity.

Nature gives back our sense of belonging. (For more details, follow the button below.)

Cacao for healing and health

Cacao helps us connect with our hearts and expands our humanity!

Nourishing us on many levels; our bodies, spirit, and minds.

I share ceremonial, which is handmade and fair trade cacao, with recipes passed down from a lineage of the guardians of Cacao.

I spent time learning from the cacao guardians who live in Guatemala and who wish to teach and protect their lineage of Iq’ Cacao, (pronounced “Ish” Cacao,) meaning“feminine”.

Cacao has amazing health benefits and helps us expand our hearts and blood flow. It contains small amounts of caffeine and offers a complex chemical alchemical impact on our bodies when consumed. Minerals, antioxidants, and nutrients help relax mood and muscles, as well as helping to alleviate stress. Drinking cacao releases dopamine into our system as well as serotonin.

The only contraindication for long-term cacao use is if you are pregnant or taking medication for depression.

So feel free to get in touch if you have any questions.
