Memory of nature calls

A sense of restlessness stirs in us all at times. With me I see it as the memory of nature calling. I am beckoned to go outside, walk in the open and smell the air, see the sky and rest my mind on the distant horizon. I am reminded never to forget nature in all her continuously changing beauty.

For nature stirs within us a sense of belonging to something greater, a sensation which allows us to let go of our troubles and stresses. The worries of our inner lives are balanced against what truly matters. We are reminded of the wonder and intrinsic intelligence of the natural world which we are all a part of.

When we walk in nature all our senses are invited to open and we respond by slowing things down, engaging with and responding to the environment, taking stock of what is around us, where we are in our lives. It is good to touch base.

Time spent in nature is never wasted.

Nature reconnects you to you, creeping into your heart and soul when all you thought you were doing was admiring the clouds or the bird in the tree.

Nature will imprint itself in you and be carried back to your ordinary indoor life.

Time spent in nature is never wasted.
